Folks who have followed the Big Jeff Blues project over the last few years will notice one of the longest members of the band is missing Al 'Mr. Big Winkeler.

       He has recently announced his retirement from playing!      We are going to miss him, but wish him the best as he journeys onward.  Spending his spare time with his family.   Thank you Al, for your years of dedicated service to not only the Blues Ensemble, but all the bands you've made better through the years !!

On  March 10, 2008  during a performance with the Hard Tale Blues Band, at Beale on Broadway, Downtown St. Louis, MO.    The one & only Sir Tom Jones popped in for some after dinner Blues and a few glasses of champaign.   What a thrill it was when he joined the guys on stage!!!
